I'm not gonna lie, prior to being sent these products to try, I was pretty set in my ways when it came to my shaving routine. I leaned towards a specific razor, preferred to a certain shave cream (or creamy body wash in a pinch), and always coated my gams in the same moisturizer afterwards. To say these have been a game changer for me would be an understatement...
I start the shaving process {and yes, it is a process} using c.Booth Ginger Sugar Body Scrub the night before. It is very important to use it the night before and not right before you shave, as your skin will be too sensitive after this effective scrub and shaving too soon will cause undue pain. Exfoliating prior too shaving helps get a close shave by not only removing the top layer of dead skin cells, it also helps to open the hair follicles which will help prevent ingrown hairs. I'm a big fan of this scrub-its sweet and spicy scent energizes and uplifts your senses, while sugar granules stimulate and smooth your skin. The added Coconut Oil will provide deep and real moisture leaving legs super soft. Plus there's Shea and Cocoa butters to soften the skin and leave you with a smooth, radiant glow!
I first discovered the unique Schick Intuition razor in a care package the hospital sent me home with after having London almost 5 years ago. They included it in the package because its ingenious design, with a razor surrounded by a thick bar of moisturizer that acts as shave cream, allows you to save time in the shower {and as all moms know full well, shower time is precious time that is all too often cut entirely too short}. The Schick Intuition Pure Nourishment Razor was made with women with dry skin in mind. It features a unique Skin Conditioning Solid that's infused with Coconut Milk and Almond Oil so now it's full of antioxidants and Coconut Milk to moisture skin. It also has four blades to ensure a close shave and a pivoting head to minimize nicks and cuts. I also love that it comes with a shower hanger and travel cap {which I high recommend utilizing because if you leave the razor near water, not only can that dull the blades and allow them to rust {ew!}, it will make the conditioning solid melt away well before its time}.
Now, I'm not gonna lie, c. Booth 4-in-1 Multi-Action Body Lotion in Coconut Fig is the star of the show to me! It promotes healthy cell turnover with a powerful combination of Alpha Hydroxy Acids (ONE), Shea Butter and Sweet Almond Oil to keep skin hydrated (TWO), Caffeine to help firm and tone (THREE), and Vitamins A and E to provide antioxidant support to the skin (FOUR). It also contains Coconut Oil to add delicious aroma and strengthens the underlying tissues for legs that beg to be shown off {and touched}!
So what's your shaving routine? Have you used them razor for years or do you rush out to try the latest innovations as soon as they come out? Do you prefer shave gel or cream, soap or body wash? Do you prefer disposable razors or the other kind {I have no idea what they're called}? My inquiring mind wants to know! Leave a comment below and let me know what you think! Until next time...

I had never thought about using a scrub the night before shaving. I can see how that would make a difference. I'm pretty lame in my routine. I use a DIY cream and disposable razors.
